Minister Hakeem made President of SL-Turkey Parliamentary Association

SLMC Leader Minister Rauff Hakeem has been elected as the President of the Sri Lanka – Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Association at its meeting presided by the Deputy Speaker, Thilanga Sumathipala, held at the Parliament Complex on Tuesday (15).  

Turkish Ambassador Tunca Ozcuhadar delivered a speech at this event. He announced Sri Lankans would be granted online visa facilities with immediate effect.

Ministers A. H. M. Fowzie, Rishad Bathiudeen and Abdulla Mahroof were elected as Vice Presidents, with S. M. Marikar as Secretary, E. Saravanapavan as Asst. Secretary and Lucky Jayawardene as Treasurer. Minister Hakeem delivered the vote of thanks.
