Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi holds talks with Bangladesh PM

A cordial discussion was held between the Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who arrived in the country to participate in the Commonwealth Heads of State Meeting, and the Minister of Power and Energy Pavithra Wanniarachchi at the VVIP lounge of the Bandaranaike International Airport recently. During the meeting discussions were held on measures that could be taken for the progress of the power and energy sector between the two countries. They also focussed on the measures taken in other countries in the region to face any future power crisis. The Bangladeshi Prime minister further said during her discussion that through the Commonwealth Heads of State Meeting that took place in Sri Lanka the affable relations between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka were further strengthened.
