Prime Minister Narendra Modi may address the Sri Lankan Parliament when he visits the country soon, a senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said in a tweet. Swamy drew strong criticism from Tamil Nadu political parties when he last visited Sri Lanka and in his tweet he questioned the critics on the Premier’s Sri Lanka visit. “PM Namo will be visiting Sri Lanka and addressing the SL Parliament. Now what will those crazies who were foaming at my Colombo visits say?” Swamy said in the tweet. However, no dates have been formally announced on Modi visiting Sri Lanka. Modi and President Mahinda Rajapaksa met in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting last month while earlier Modi also met the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) in New Delhi.
