Moragoda assures Muslims

UPFA Colombo Municipal Council mayoral candidate Milinda Moragoda on Monday met with residents of Stadiumgama in Bloemendhal.

He visited a mosque which the residents were concerned might be broken down as part of a development project in that area. Moragoda was able to verify with the authorities and confirm that there was no plan to disturb the mosque. In fact, this mosque had been built on land which had been donated by a Muslim philanthropist some years back.
