A student of Nalanda College Colombo, Tharindu Nirmal Wickramasinghe, has emerged as the best performing student at the 2014 GCE Ordinary Level examination, after results were released yesterday.
A student of Gampaha Holy Cross College, Sandani Navanjana Jayawardana secured second place while third position was shared between three students - Amashi Nivarthana of Colombo Visakha College, Nuvani Nethsarani of Gampaha Rathnawali College and Garuni Hansapani Abeysinghe Mahamaya from Girls’ High School Kandy.
