Namal grilled by CCD

The United People’s Freedom Alliance MP Namal Rajapaksa was summoned by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) yesterday to record a statement.

Addressing the media representatives gathered outside the CCD, Rajapaksa said he was questioned in connection to a threat made to the former Air Force Commander by unknown persons over the phone. The alleged threat had been made by someone who posed as Namal Rajapaksa, he noted. Investigations by the CCD are continuing.
