National Chamber conducts training program for SMEs in Hambantota

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, in its ongoing program in the outstations to develop and expand the knowledge and skills of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector in the country, conducted another one-day training program in Hambantota. Entitled ‘Productivity and Quality through Japanese 5S and Standardization’, the program was staged together with the Hambantota District Chamber. The facilitators for the event were National Chamber President Sunil G. Wijesinha, who is also a productivity consultant and corporate trainer and the Sri Lanka Standards Institute Assistant Director S.C. K. Konara. Senior Chamber officials also participated at the event. The program was well-structured and well-attended.
