Norochcholai scheduled shutdown says CMEC

The second unit of the Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant has not broken down says the China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC). Irrespective of media reports that this was another in a series of mishaps at the Norochcholai coal fire power plant, the CMEC categorically states that this was a scheduled shut down. During the scheduled shut down there was some servicing done to the boiler, which was completed within half a day. CMEC also says that a few weeks ago, the CEB and CMEC both agreed to shut down the power plant after a Reliable Test Run (RTR). The power plant is now running at full capacity.
