PAFFREL praises peaceful polls

The People’s Action For Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) stated that this year’s General Election was one of the best elections held in recent history. The organisation’s Executive Director Rohana Hettiarachchi said that the misuse of state property, election violence and violations of pre-election law had been at an all-time low.
