Pakistan Army Chief meets Secretary Defence

Pakistani Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani NI (M) HI paid a courtesy call on the Secretary, Ministry of Defence Gotabaya Rajapaksa, last afternoon (28 June) at the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development premises.

Matters of mutual interests and bilateral relevance were discussed during the meeting between the Secretary Defence and the visiting Pakistani Chief of Army Staff. Both officials exchanged mementos to mark the occasion. High Commissioner of Pakistan in Colombo Maj. Gen. (Retd) Qasim Qureshi, the Chief of Defence Staff and the commanders of the three forces were also present.
