The third round of the Annual Armed Forces Staff Talks between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was held at the Office of the Chief of the Defence Staff BMICH in Colombo recently (14-16 September). 

The Armed Forces Staff Talks was inaugurated in the 2012 to promote professional and mutually beneficial relations between both armed forces through direct and open exchange of facts on matters of mutual interest.

A number of topics were taken up for discussion with focus training, joint exercises, research and development and military exchange programs.

Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal KA Gunatilleke, Pakistani delegation leader Major General Iftikhar Ahmad Wyne and both local and foreign Senior Officers were present at the occasion.
