(Colombo Lankapuvath) Having killed Former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, slain LTTE leader V. Prabhakaran had even given thought to kill incumbent Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha Jayram as she opposed the LTTE, LTTE arms procurer Kumaran Pathmanathan told an Indian television.
CNN IBN quoted Pathmanathan alias KP as having told an Indian television station in a video that the LTTE was deeply influenced by DMK and the defeated Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Muthuvel Karunanidi.
Kumaran Pathmanathan has extended his apology to India for having brutally assassinated former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Former LTTE arms procurer and one time leader in a revealing interview with an Indian newspaper has also told that around 16 or 17 May, 2009 the UN and a Western government had asked if some LTTE leaders were ready to leave the country and go somewhere and if so they could send a ship.
