President will be Chief Guest at UNP 70th anniversary celebrations

President Maithripala Sirisena will be participating as the Chief Guest at the 70th anniversary celebrations of the United National Party.

Addressing a media briefing at Sirikotha, State Minister Niroshan Perera stated the anniversary celebrations would be held at Campbell Park on 10 September under the patronage of the Prime Minister although the official anniversary is 6 September.
