The price of a litre of kerosene has been reduced by Rs. 5 with immediate effect.
Accordingly, a litre of kerosene will be sold at Rs. 44. Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake proposed in Budget 2017 to reduce the price of kerosene by Rs. 5. with effect from January 2017.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance has informed the Petroleum Corporation with regard to the price reduction.
