Private bus operators call off strike

The planned strike by private buses today has been called off, President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Gemunu Wijerathne said. 

This was following a successful discussion the Association held with the President yesterday.

The strike was originally called for demanding a 6% hike in bus fares.
