Pumping on a prayer

Petroleum Minister Susil Premajayanth took what would probably be a welcome break to open seven petrol stations in the north yesterday and today. Here he is seen pumping petrol into a car at one of the newly opened stations.

They were opened in Jaffna, Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi Districts. The Minister has come under much flack for importing substandard fuel and the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) for losing the hedging case in London’s Commercial Court - Pic Romesh Madushanka
