Rains displace 49,787 persons

Torrential rains and strong winds have displaced 49,787 persons in 13 districts, the Disaster Management Center said.

Sixty five houses have been completely destroyed while another 448 houses are reported damaged. Five persons were killed during this period as a result of earth slips and fall of rocks.
