Ranaviru Real Star Mission III concludes with great fanfare

Ranaviru Real Star Mission III hit the boards at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium over the weekend to a packed crowd. Fans of the show selected Sri Lanka Air Force Leading Aircraft Woman Thushani Perera as the final ‘Real Star’ and the first and second runners-up were Army contenders as well.
The winner of Real Star Mission III will receive a new house worth about Rs. 8 million and the runners-up will receive a car and cash prizes.
Ranaviru Real Star commenced two years ago as a conceptual notion of Secretary Defence and Urban Development Gotabaya Rajapaksa, in order to tap into and publicise the musical talents of tri-service personnel.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa, First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa, Defence and Urban Development Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, ministers, Navy and Air Force Commanders, Army Chief of Staff and a large gathering of tri-service personnel were amongst the crowd that enjoyed the evening.
