Rejecting the Opposition charges mounted against the Government for not taking effective action to curb Tamil diaspora activities, especially on the internet, the Prime Minister said: “Unless you can point out a website the Government is unable to take action against those who are behind it.”

Minister of Law and Order and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka also requested Gunasekera to identify the particular website which shows the footage of such a protest along with photographs.

“Opposition claimed to have defeated terrorism and now you have complaints. I suggest you to take legal action and act upon the instructions of the Attorney General,” said Minister Ratnayaka. (AH)
