Ravi K meets Malaysian PM

The sub-regional Economic Cooperation Summit of South Asia was inaugurated in New Delhi today. Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake is in New Delhi to participate in the summit. Several issues with regard to the economic affairs of SAARC nations are scheduled to be discussed at this summit. The summit will also discuss the challenges faced by South Asian nations in their development activities. It will discuss solutions to such challenges as well.

Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake has met Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak in New Delhi on the sidelines of the summit. The Malaysian Premier has commented that rapid changes were taking place through the ongoing development drive in Sri Lanka and such changes would stand the country in good stead.
