Re-calculated Z-scores for released

The Department of Examination has released the Z-scores for the 2011 GCE Advanced Level Examination.

Hearing a petition filed by an education sector union and students, Sri Lanka’s Supreme Court, on June 25 ordered the University Grants Commission (UGC) to annul the calculated Z-scores for the national exam that selects the students for the universities and recalculate scores separately for old and new syllabuses.

The new z-scores released can be obtained via the website, www.doenets.lk, the Examinations Department said.
