Rishad, Maithri meet Mannar Bishop Joseph

Former Minister and the Leader of the ACMC, Rishad Bathiudeen, met Mannar Bishop Rt. Rev. Rayappu Joseph yesterday in Mannar. Bathiudeen was meeting the Bishop of Mannar as part of his first northern campaign rally for the common presidential candidate Maithripala Sirisena. Bishop Joseph also met and had discussions with Sirisena. UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake was also present at the occasion.

Common Opposition candidate Maithripala Sirisena, who was also the Acting Minister of Defence during the final stages of the war, addressed his first campaign rally in the Northern Province yesterday in Mannar.
