Rishad meets UN’s High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva

Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce and the leader of ACMC (All Ceylon Makkal Congress Party, or, the All Ceylon People’s Congress party) met Antonio Guterres, the High Commissioner, UNHCR at the UNHCR Office in Geneva on 01 March. Here Minister Bathiudeen being welcomed by Mr. Guterres, prior to start of their discussion.

Guterres, a former Portuguese prime minister, was elected by the UN General Assembly to head the UNHCR and re-electing him in April 2010for a second five-year term.
