Road named after Fonseka

The road linking Ananda Mawatha and Ketawalamulla Road in Colombo 10 was named after Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka yesterday by the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC). The road was named in recognition of his service to ensure the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. President Maithripala Sirisena instructed the CMC to name the road after Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka.
