A round table discussion on Inclusive development and growth is scheduled to be held at the at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, 24, Horton Place, Colombo 7 on 1 August at 5.30p.m.
The event is being organised as a follow up to their Inaugural Conference held in April this year on a similar theme by the South Asia Policy and Research Institute (SAPRI) Chaired by Chandrika Kumaratunga.
The lead speakers will be SAPRI’s Board Members, Centre for Global Governance of LSE,UK Founder and member of the House of Lords Meghnad Desai, ICRIER Honorary Professor and former Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India Dr. Shankar Acharya and Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Law of Bangladesh Dr. Kamal Hossain. Renowned Sri Lankan Economist Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy is due to moderate the discussion. Entrance will be free.
