Sajith helps late soldier’s mother

Minister of Housing Construction Sajith Pramadasa hands over a cheque for the first payment of housing aid to build a house for the mother of late Ranaviru Ranajith Premasari of the Army. Hailing from Puttalam, he lost his life in the war. The sad story of this mother living without a house was highlighted through the Minister’s Facebook page and he immediately took action to provide her with a land in the Puttalam District;s Anamaduwa Gamudawa area. The Minister instructed NHDA District Manager Puttalam to construct a house within five months to the value of Rs. 500,000. The cheque handing over event was held at Sethsripaya, the Housing Ministry’s Auditorium on 9 March. National Housing Development Authority Chairman S. Palansooriya is also present.
