Sajith rewards top Grade 5 Scholarship student

Sithija Niran Samarawickrama of Urugamuwa Methodist Senior School from Matara secured the island’s first place, obtaining 196 marks at the Grade Five Scholarship Examination. This student presently lives in Beliatta, Hambantota. Minister of Housing Construction Sajith Premadasa personally invited and honoured this student at a function held at Hambantota recently. Here the Minister hands over his personal funds of Rs. 100,000 and presents Rs. 40,000 worth of equipment also from his personal funds. Minister of Rural Economy Development P. Harrison also participated at this function.
