Saudi Prince meets Foreign Minister

DFT-4 A special meeting was held between Saudi Royal Family member, Prince Fahad Bin Moregen Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently.

Minister Karunanayake requested the vising Prince to draw his attention to invest in Sri Lanka as such opportunities are currently wide open.

Responding to the Minister, Al Saud said he expects to invest in tourism sector of Sri Lanka.

The Prince also said that Sri Lanka has entered a huge development arena and he witnessed such a development drive is moving in the country.

Karunanayake who appreciated the flexibility by Saudi Government towards Sri Lanka said the country was moving forward while strengthening democracy under the good governance of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
