Somawansa’s new party’s first political summit on Saturday

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) former Leader Somawansa Amarasinghe announced yesterday that his newly-formed political party’s first summit would be held on Saturday in Colombo.

This summit will feature two sessions and the first session will be open to the general public. However, the second session will be limited to party members and activists, a statement noted.

The statement added that heads of the party would be selected during the summit and the names would be revealed to the media after the summit.
