South African President to lead delegation to CHOGM in Sri Lanka

Pretoria: South African President Jacob Zuma will lead his country’s delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) that will be held in Colombo from 15-17 November 2013, the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation announced Monday. President Zuma will be accompanied by Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation.
Minister Nkoana-Mashabane will lead the South African delegation at the Foreign Ministers Meeting on 13 -14 November 2013 that will precede the Heads of Government Meeting.
The theme for CHOGM 2013 “Growth with Equity: Inclusive Development”, developed by Sri Lanka, emphasizes the importance of equity in economic development and that inclusive development should provide opportunities to all members of society. See more CHOGM news on P12 to 18
