Under the MoU Sri Lanka will contribute US$ 70,000 to the United Nations Millennium Campaign and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Thematic Trust Fund in Support of Poverty Reduction, a statement released by the Permanent Mission in New York said. The MoU also includes technical assistance for the 2014 World Conference on Youth. Last year, Sri Lanka donated US$ 30,000 to the Trust Fund established for the United Nations Secretary General’s Youth Envoy.
