Sri Lankans deported from Australia questioned by CID

The police’s Criminal Investigations Department (CID) detained and questioned 25 Sri Lankans deported from Australia.

The Sri Lankans were detained after they arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning.

Australia deported the Sri Lankans after they entered the country illegally and sought asylum. (Colombo Gazette)
