SriLankan deploys special flights for Sai Baba funeral

SriLankan Airlines wishes to inform the public that special arrangements have been made by the airline to carry all Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba devotees who wish to pay their last respects to the Bhagwan’s remains in India.

The airline will have additional capacity on their daily flights to Bangalore from Tuesday, 26 April onwards, in order to accommodate all devotees who wish to fly to India to pay final homage to their spiritual leader.

In accordance with the wishes of the government of Sri Lanka and a special request made to the airline by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, while increasing the airline’s capacity to Bangalore from Tuesday 26 April, the airline will also consider adding some special charters to facilitate the travel of all the Bhagwan’s devotees.
