State Minister attends Defexpo India 2016

State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene attended the Defexpo India 2016 in Goa, India recently.

Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi accompanied the State Minister during his visit.

Defexpo India 2016 was the ninth in the series of a biennial land, naval and internal homeland security systems exhibition. It was held at Naqueri Quitol in Quepem Taluka of South Goa, India from 28 to 31 March. 

Over 200 foreign companies from 32 countries participated in the show along with 15 country pavilions. It provided a platform for exhibitors to display their latest technologies and products and an opportunity to explore/tap the market and business potential for mutual benefits.
