Sumathipala to address South Asian Speakers’ Summit

Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala, will attend the South Asian Speakers’ Summit on ‘Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,’ scheduled to take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh 30 -31 January.

He will chair the session on ‘MPOWER Policy: Progress in the South Asian Region.’

It is organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in cooperation with the Bangladesh Parliament and with the support of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. 

Deputy Speaker Sumathipala will also address the summit at the closing ceremony.
