The Chief Ministers of the Central and North Western Provinces Sarath Ekanayake and Dayasiri Jayasekera will be sworn in before the two Provincial Governors today. Jayasekera will be sworn in before North Western Province Governor Tissa Balalla while Ekanayake will take oaths before Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa.
Jayasekera obtained a record number of preferential votes at the recently concluded North Western provincial election.
