Testa Bake House sponsors food for support staff involved in Pope visit

The Testa Bake House Group of Companies is sponsoring food for the entire logistical support and security staff involved with the three-day tour of Pope Francis. A spokesman for Testa said the contingent amounted to over 20,000 people. Established in 1995, Testa operates over 20 factory and office canteens around the country serving a large number of people. Testa owns and operates cafes in Avissawella, Boralugoda, Settikulam and a newer branch in Diyatha Uyana. Furthermore, it also owns hotels and reception halls in Avissawella and Kilinochchi. In addition, it supplies food to cafes operated by ‘Api Venuven Api’ in Colombo. It provides catering services at various functions whether they are business-oriented or otherwise. To support delivery services, Testa currently operates a fleet of over 20 vehicles and has over 350 staff.
