Top level Iran delegation arrives

A top level five member Iranian delegation is in the country under the eminent leadership of the Secretary General of the Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and member of the Assembly of Experts – Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Thaskiri.

The delegation will stay in Sri Lanka for three days and scheduled to attend several events. The Cultural Section of the Embassy of Iran will hold a discussion for Sri Lankan religious scholars with the visiting delegation under the topic ‘The importance of unity among the Muslims' on 27, April at No. 6 Sir Earnest de Silva Mawathe, Colombo 7, at 4.30 p.m. followed by dinner. The cultural Section has sent invitations to prominent moulavis and religious dignitaries to this event.
