Turkey Foreign Affairs Ministry ready to aid SL

Issuing a condolence message regarding the natural disaster condition of Sri Lanka, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Republic of Turkey has conveys its sympathy over the dead and displaced people countrywide. 

“We have learnt with great sorrow that as of Wednesday, 37 people have lost their lives as a result of the floods and landslides which occurred in different parts of Sri Lanka due to the ongoing torrential rain,” statement said.

It further mentioned: “First and foremost we extend our condolences to the families of the deceased, as well as to the friendly people of Sri Lanka. We would like to express that we are ready to provide assistance to Sri Lanka to help heal the wounds of these difficult days.”
