Turkish Ambassador meets with Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion

Turkish Ambassador to Sri Lanka Iskender K. Okyay together with Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Turkey Barathi Wijerathna, recently met with Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion Faiszer Musthapha, to discuss the possibility of strengthening bilateral trade and business relations.

Musthapha explained the facilities afforded to foreign investors and requested the Turkish ambassador to encourage the Turkish business community to invest in Sri Lanka.

Ambassador Iskender K. Okyay in response stated that the Chamber of Commerce in Turkey had already been informed of the potential for investment in Sri Lanka by the Ambassador Barthi Wijerathna.
