The main Opposition United National Party yesterday presented its draft constitution proposals to the Sri Lanka Freedom Party for perusal and feedback. UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake handed the proposals over to SLFP General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena at the SLFP Headquarters.
Also present were UNP MPs Ravi Karunanayake and Wijedasa Rajapakse. Sirisena said that the proposals would be handed over to the SLFP Central Committee for review and an opinion on the draft constitution would be conveyed.
