US rejects visa application from Fonseka

The US Embassy in Colombo has reportedly rejected a visa application from the former army commander, Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka.

Fonseka was the army commander during the final stages of the war during which war crimes had allegedly been committed (Colombo Gazette).
