Vaas further remanded

Former Deputy Inspector General of Police Vaas Gunawardana, his son, Ravi Gunawardana and five other individuals have been further remanded.

After being presented to the Colombo Additional Magistrate, Chandana Kulasooriya, a decision was made to further remand the seven individuals till the 25 of April.

The decision to remand the individuals were made after a T-56, other firearms along with a few hand grenades were found, un licensed, under their possession, by the Criminal Investigations Department.
