The Western and Southern Provincial Council elections will be held on 29 March, Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya announced yesterday.
Handing over of nominations for the elections concluded yesterday. All the main political parties including the UPFA and the UNP are contesting the polls in both provinces.
