The Green Zahira Society of Zahira College has organised a photography competition regarding biodiversity as an inter-school competition on 21 and 22 January 2015 in the lawn of their school. The aim of this exhibition is to motivate students to explore the biodiversity through capturing images. More than 100 students are participating in this event. This project includes as an element of ISA (International School Awards) projects.
The Chief Guest of this competition will be Kinsley Rathnayake, Director of MBC, Channel Head of Sirasa FM, Guest of Honour Principal of the College Trizvi Marikkar and the Special Guest would be Ramesh Uvais the Deputy Editor of Daily Mirror and distinguished old boy of Zahira College.
The competition is to be held in three different categories as Junior, Intermediate and Senior. Winners will be selected from each category by judges. Everyone is welcome.
