Delayed CEB billings

I used to get electricity bills around the 28th of each month but last month i.e. September, the bill was received on 7 October with the meter reading being taken on the 7th.

The above bill has been computed for the period 28 September to 7 October (39 days) with the number of units consumed as 128 and levying a charge of Rs. 1,730.00.

This is to request the CEB to do the billings on a monthly basis i.e. for 30 days plus/minus one to two days as otherwise it will very badly inconvenience the consumers taking into consideration the prevailing unfavourable economic conditions.
