Take action against burning garbage

People are burning garbage daily at different intervals till late at night and there is no fresh air at all these days.

I have complained many times to PHI, MOH, Police and Municipal Council. People say that Municipal Council makes such a fuss to take garbage and they do not come regularly to the lanes.

Air pollution is a serious issue especially during corona. People must be made aware and the Municipal Council must increase the penalties to prevent this issue. It’s a multi-disciplinary approach.

We can’t ignore other aspects of health due to corona. There may be a dengue surge soon because our water drainage canals are not maintained well by CMC.

Please take prompt action.
