Dayan J and Govt. bashing

Dr. Dayan Jayatilake suddenly sees all Government decisions as being wrong, unwise and undemocratic.  

Each day, he writes columns, gives speeches and waxes eloquent on every conceivable topic, his latest being a full page analysis on UNP/UPFA/SLMC politician Azath Salley in the FT. However, in his current report as well as his recent writings, the bottom line is that the Government is at fault for any and everything.  In short, the Government can do no right, since Dayan Jayatilleka is now not with the Government!

It is pathetic to see persons of academic achievements who have been trying to get positions now finding fault with the Government when their personal aims of being political heavy weights have been not realised.  Dr. Dayan Jayatilake and Professor Rajiva Wijesinha are two such persons and they have now become the willing tools of the anti- Sri Lanka Tamil diaspora and other anti-Government elements, since assuming their new roles as Government bashers.

Their personal agendas are of course very visible to any intelligent person, and therefore, they are now being exposed as to what they really are: Articulate men without principles who would sing any song to boost their own egos.  All these recent events prove that the Government did right in not continuing with the services of self-centred and egoistic persons such as Dr. Dayan Jayatilake and Professor Rajiva Wijesinha.
