Malayasia has disgraced itself

Imagine if it had been the American Ambassador or a head of Mission from a Western country or for that matter Australia or China who was assaulted, would your authorities have acted in the manner they did when the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka was assaulted? 

Not only have the law enforcement authorities acted slowly but the Judiciary (which is already under a cloud) treated this matter casually; it’s an absolute disgrace. 

It is a well-known fact that the Tamils of Sri Lanka origin who came to Malaysia are today vice-chancellors, judges, lawyers, doctors – all of them eminent Vellala people, all Hindus; there are few of other castes who are Catholics. 

It has been a Catholic priest who has been over the years visiting here to collect money for the diaspora; the Church here gave that man a million ringit, monies they said were for the poor women and children of the north but not a cent went to them as the Catholic Bishop in KL found out; the Bishop of Mannar also got to know of the fraud later. 

The so-called pro LTTE Tamils who are ‘bought’ for demonstrations are working class Indian Tamils. If the Police arrest all those who were involved in the assault on the High Commissioner as they should (there can be no excuse for not doing so, as all were caught on camera) we shall then know the whole story, that they don’t have to fund the war; they have enough and more money to wreck the peace which we in Lanka yearn for after the 30-year war.

Why was adequate protection not provided to the High Commissioner? Where was the Airport Security when the HC was assaulted? It appears that Malaysian Intelligence has failed for they should surely should have had information on the activities and plans of this terrorist organisation in their own interest. It is indeed time that the LTTE which no longer exists in Lanka is banned in Malaysia.
