11 Indian companies to participate in Colombo Yarn and Fabric Show

Eleven premier organisations in the Indian textile sector under the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, Mumbai (TEXPROCIL), will be taking part in the fourth Colombo International Yarn and Fabric Show, which will held from 28 February to 2 March 2013, at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre (SLECC) Colombo.



The Indian companies participating in the show include: Acme International Gujarat, which deals with raw cotton, fabrics knitted and woven home textile, denim and garments; Birla Century Mumbai, a division Century Textiles and Industries dealing in 100% cotton poplin, cambric, voiles, yarn dyed shirting and suiting, solids, bottom-weights, products of cotton linen, 100% linen, 100% Milange and Lycra and wide range of bed linen and home furnishing products with special weaves and finishes, 100% cotton yarn and indigo denim fabrics.

Adding up with Chennai Textiles dealing in 100% cotton yarn dyed clothing fabrics, home textiles, bed linen and many more; Kikani Exports Coimbatore, dealing in 100% cotton raw yarns, synthetic raw and blended yarns 100% cotton woven and knitted raw fabrics; K.G. Denim Limited Tamil Nadu, dealing in denim, solid dyed goods in shirting and bottom weights, garments and home textile goods like bed sheet sets, terry towels and many more; Khemtex International Mumbai, dealing in 100% cotton and poly cotton shirting fabrics; Loyal Textile Mills Tamil Nadu, dealing in yarn, woven fabrics and knitted fabrics;

The listed companies also include Mafatlal Industries Mumbai, dealing in 100% cotton voiles, satins, lawns, poplins, dobbies in bleached, dyed, printed and yarn dyed in counts like 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 2/105s; Minaxi Textiles Gujarat, dealing in fancy cotton suiting, Codroy, shirting, cotton dobby suiting, cotton viscose suiting, all fabric in lycra quality; Winsome Textile Industries Punjab, dealing in 100% cotton yarn and its blends with silk, wool, modal, linen, nylon, smart cell fibres, rayon, polyester and so on in raw white, melange and dyed (yarn and fibre dyed), tri-blend yarns, flake/chill yarns, slub yarns, siro, dri-release, other speciality yarns, circular knitted fabrics in yarn dyed (auto-striper and feeder stripe) and melanges; and the Handicrafts and handlooms exports corporation of India, dealing in handicrafts, handlooms, RTW, carpets.

The event will provide a unique opportunity to the Sri Lankan textile entrepreneurs, dealing in fabrics, yarns and garments. Visit the ‘Indian Pavilion’ and take benefit of Texprocil’s presence at the exhibition by having one-to-one business discussion and making new trade contacts.    

The Indian exhibitors will be displaying samples of yarns, yarn dyed fabrics, grey fabrics, knitted fabrics, denim fabrics, fancy knitted fabrics and 100% cotton as well as blended fabrics.
